Contact us for a free estimate to demolish your house to see what sets us apart from other Demolition Contractors. We will right away schedule an appointment to go out to the site and look at it. We will also ask you about the following things:
The demolition permit: this needs to be obtained from the local municipality, prior to commencing any project. This includes all of the services being disconnected. Is this in place? If not, do you need any help with it?
Has there been a Designated Substance Survey or (DSS) done on the house? This is required by Ontario Regulations, and if not, do you need help with this?
Do you want the site backfilled, or are you going to be excavating a new basement right away? If you are just backfilling it, we will try to find ways to save you money when backfilling.
Depending on the size of the house, and the accessibility of the site, it can take anywhere from 2 to 5 days per house demolition, once our crews are onsite.

Budget Demolition Services is dedicated to the environment. At it’s inception, recycling has always been a primary focus. Budget continually strives to achieve a minimum of 90% diversion from landfills. That is only a minimum and quite often much better diversion rates are achieved. Through the use of a proactive health and safety policy and procedures and a well organized recycling program, the health of environment is placed upon everyone.
Prior to the commencement of any new demolition project, a waste audit is to be conducted. The project supervisor and the project coordinator are to review all aspects of the project and determine the best way to deal with all waste from the site, and a plan of how all waste is to be effectively dealt with is to be formulated. The Ministry of Environment’s Waste Audit forms are incorporated into this procedure and are kept on file as required for 5 years following the completion of the project. Once this has been prepared it is to be made available to the crew and it is to be reviewed and thus, everyone is aware of what needs to be done.
Source Separating – the key to an effective planThis means that as a building is being demolished, the machine operator strategically dismantles the building separating everything into piles as he/she works. This also cuts down on the double handling of the materials.
Simply, the building is separated into the following piles,
• Brick Rubble – which is then crushed down into gravel for reuse
• Block Rubble/Concrete Rubble – which is also crushed down into gravel for reuse
• Metal – All ferrous and non ferrous metals are sent to recycling facilities for reuse
• Wood – the majority of wood is separated on site and sent for use in greenhouses and other landscape applications
• Reusable items – Sinks, toilets, insulations, carpets, etc, Habitat for humanity or other charities are often brought in if these items are salvageable and then are reused for needy families.
• Non recyclable or reusable items – items that cannot fit into the other categories are then brought to a recycling facility where it is sorted through again. For further details, please contact us
This effective approach to waste diversion is considered a 3R’s program, which Reduse, Reuse and Recycle are all key aspects to this waste diversion program. This same process is used on all LEEDS Certified Demolition sites.
